    Richard was born in Torquay and naturally the sea figured prominently in his young life. As a result the sea is a constant source of subject matter.  
    "I am eternally inspired by nature and constantly strive to capture its fleeting forms.  I love the poetry of the land and the sea.  The associations are strong and deep and I try to convey this in my work".
    This most appropriate exhibition, in the heart of Devon's English Riviera, is a true celebration of the beauty that surrounds us every day.

    Sea Stories is in the 1st floor contemporary gallery at Torre Abbey.  Normal Abbey entry fees apply.  Free entry to the Abbey and all exhibitions for one year when you buy a season ticket or join Friends of Torre Abbey.
