The Asset Rationalisation project team has identified, with Cabinet and relevant Service Heads, 43 assets which might be suitable for disposal or rationalisation.
A report was approved by Cabinet on 22 January 2008 recommending further consultation with Members, Community Partnerships and the public regarding the potential disposal of these assets. This Consultation period has ended and the results of this consultation exercise have been used to produce a further report (available below) which was presented to Cabinet on 27 May 2008. This report contains an outline of the feedback received and detailed recommendations for each of the 43 assets. The Decision was taken at this meeting:
