Mayflower 400 Exhibition: Journey

The Tamar Valley Printmakers (UK) and the Cape Cod Printmakers (USA) are presenting a new body of artistic work inspired by the journey taken by the Mayflower 400 years ago.

Each artists will use their own interpretation on the theme 'Journeys', some are looking at social issues as well as the historic elements of this subject. This joint new body of work will be exhibited in both countries during 2020.

Six editioned prints will be made by each artist, three for the USA and three for the UK. A total of forty artists will produce original prints which will be on display as part of this exciting project. One copy of each original print will be held by the Cape Cod Museum of Art in the archive to commemorate this collaboration.
