Taking place over the school summer holidays, our brand new Forest School Sessions taking place in the stunning gardens at Torre Abbey, where it is hoped that different generations will come together to play, explore and get creative out in the fresh air.
These sessions could prove perfect for grandparents and their grandchildren or indeed families in general.
Led by qualified Forest School Leader Grace Clifford, these promise to be popular, fun and educational sessions in the beautiful setting of the gardens at Torre Abbey.
We request that you sign up to all of the 6 weeks (minimum of 4), however if you are unable to make a week please just let us know beforehand.
Forest School - Session 1: 10am to 11.30am
Forest School - Session 2: 11:45am to 1.15pm
Please note this session is reserved for those aged over 55 who are invited to bring along their younger family members.

Torbay CAN (Connecting Actively to Nature)
The CAN programme aims to help people discover the combined benefits of a more active lifestyle, with the psychological benefits that being outdoors in nature brings.
Starting this summer at Torre Abbey we are running a series of free to attend short courses to specifically help the over 55’s with getting outdoors, trying something new and meeting new people.
Although aimed at over 55’s (where suitable) we encourage them to bring their younger family members along too.
All sessions are part of the Torbay Connecting to Nature Programme funded by Active Devon.
