A celebration of sound and light, illuminating the overlooked, bringing people together
Come along to Wavelength for three nights in November with vibrant projections, playable sculptures, collective performances and activities.
Artists, technologists and communities will come together after dark through an outdoor celebration of light and sound in the English Riviera UNESCO Global Geopark.

M U R M U R A T I O N
Murmuration captures the wonder of being part of a collective experience that is bigger than you. Taking inspiration from the starling that gather in our skies choreographer Suzie West has created a unique collective experience. Using silent disco technology, a large flock of over 100 people moving in tune with each other taking inspiration from a soundscore that weaves together snippets of natural sound, vocals, lost dialect and fragments of music. You are invited to watch and contribute to a deep dive into the imagination of Torquay. Rather than being visitors to the galleries within the abbey walls, visitors are asked to creatively re-image the walls themselves, using the Abbey as a canvas for your own artistic expression.
