Step inside one of Torbay's most treasured historic landmarks and enjoy free admission to Torre Abbey for one day only as part of Heritage Open Days.

Visitors will have the rare opportunity to explore the Spanish Barn, a remarkable Grade I listed medieval building that is not normally open to the public except for special events. This unique space offers a fascinating glimpse into Devon's rich history and heritage.

As part of the day, Torre Abbey Manager Lucinda Heron will lead two exclusive guided tours of the Abbey, providing behind-the-scenes insights into the history, stories and ongoing preservation of this extraordinary site.

You can also discover Conservation in Action, where members of the Torre Abbey team will demonstrate the careful work involved in cleaning and preserving historic picture frames, offering a rare look at the techniques used to care for the Abbey's collections.
